Private Dining & Events Head Chef Claridges We are seeking an experienced Private Dining & Events Head Chef to join the senior team within the Main Kitchen here at Claridges.
Set in the heart of Mayfair, Claridges is an art deco icon and a byword for understated elegance.

There are many 5-star hotels in London but nowhere quite like Claridges.
The hotel is a unique combination of splendour and charm with long-standing connections with royalty that have led to it sometimes being referred to as annexe to Buckingham Palace.
Claridges has a famous all-day dining and Afternoon Tea restaurant the Foyer & Reading Room, LEpicerie that offers a culinary theatre of the kitchen, and three bars: Claridges Bar, the intimate Fumoir and effortlessly elegant Painters Room .
The main kitchen is responsible for the preparation and service of food within the Foyer and Reading Room, In Room Dining and our luxury event space, catering for around 1000 people per day.
Seasonal ingredients and locally sourced produce are the hallmarks of our dining menus.
Simply delicious, and deliciously simple.
Scope and Purpose As Private Dining & Events Head Chef, you would be responsible for the supervision, preparation and service of all food, ensuring that the highest standards are maintained at all times in keeping with a luxury hotel.
You will be required to ensure that strict hygiene regulations are adhered to and constantly improved.
There is a keen focus on sourcing only the finest ingredients, whether it will be locally or organically grown.
You will ensure the brigade maximise their resources each day and fresh stock is routinely ordered for the following day.
You will also be required to undertake any other specific tasks assigned to you by the Culinary Director.
Entry Requirements We are looking for astrong, motivated individual, ideallysomeone who has worked in a similar role within the hospitality or travel and tourism industry.
The personwill be a team player who is an avid learner, adaptable and has exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
