Key Responsibilities :* Draft and review Wills, Powers of Attorney, and Trusts, ensuring they meet clients' personal and financial needs.
* Advise clients on complex probate and estate administration, including both contentious and non-contentious matters.
* Assist with Inheritance Tax (IHT) planning, advising on tax-efficient strategies for estate planning.
* Provide expert legal advice to clients in the Court of Protection, including the appointment of deputies and managing affairs for those who lack capacity.
* Support the elderly client team, offering guidance on issues such as care home fees, capacity, and safeguarding.
* Build and maintain strong client relationships, offering clear, practical, and empathetic advice.
* Manage your own caseload and work closely with senior colleagues, ensuring high-quality client service and compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Assist with business development activities, including networking, marketing initiatives, and building client relationships.
* Keep up-to-date with relevant legal developments in private client law.________________________________________The Ideal Candidate:* Qualified Solicitor (NQ or with 1+ years PQE) with experience or a strong interest in private client work.
* Sound knowledge of Wills, Trusts, Probate, Estate Administration, Inheritance Tax, and Elderly Client Advice.
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and develop trust with clients.
* Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple matters efficiently.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
