Private Client (Wills and Probate) Solicitor, Associate, Senior Associate, and Partner Location: Cirencester, Gloucestershire Firm: Leading National Firm with Legal 500 status Salary: Up to £80,000 Experience: A qualified Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive, or established non-qualified fee earner About the Role Our client, a highly respected Legal 500 law firm, are seeking a passionate and experienced Wills and Probate Solicitor or Lawyer to bolster their vibrant Private Client team at their England hub in Cirencester.
This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive fee earner to work with high-net-worth clients, providing expert advice and handling complex estate and succession planning matters.

Key Responsibilities • Client Management: Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor on all matters related to wills, trusts, estates, and probate.
• Estate Planning: Draft and advise on wills, trusts, and inheritance tax planning for clients, ensuring compliance with the latest legal frameworks.
• Probate and Estate Administration: Manage the probate process from start to finish, including obtaining grants of probate, handling asset distribution, and advising on any related disputes.
• Trusts and Tax Advice: Offer tailored advice on trust creation and administration, including tax-efficient estate planning solutions.
• Contentious Probate: Support or represent clients in contentious probate matters, working closely with the firm's litigation specialists.
• Supervisory: Mentor, upskill, and supervise junior fee earners and support staff.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other members of the Private Client team, contributing to team knowledge-sharing and training sessions.
• Client Development: Assist in business development activities, such as seminars, networking events, and content creation, to help expand the firm's client base.
Qualifications and Skills • Either an NQ, Associate, Senior Associate, Head of Department or Partner.
• Strong understanding of inheritance tax, capital gains tax, and other relevant tax regulations.
• Excellent communication skills, with a client-centric approach.
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to managing cases and deadlines.
• Experience in handling contentious probate matters (desirable).
• Business development skills to help grow the firm's client base.
