Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join our dynamic legal team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in wills, trusts, probate, and estate planning, with proven expertise in delivering tailored legal advice to a diverse client base.
This role involves managing private client cases with precision, empathy, and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities: Wills and Estate Planning: Advise clients on drafting wills, complex estate planning, and asset protection, ensuring tax-efficient solutions tailored to individual needs.
Trusts: Establish, administer, and manage various trusts, advising clients on all legal aspects related to trusts, including inheritance tax and trust law.
Probate and Estate Administration: Handle all aspects of probate, including obtaining grants of probate, estate distribution, and administering estates in accordance with the client's wishes.
Inheritance Tax: Provide expertise on inheritance tax planning, advising clients on minimizing tax liabilities through trusts, gifts, and other planning tools.
Client Management: Build strong relationships with clients, delivering high-quality service with empathy and professionalism during often sensitive situations.
Compliance and Regulation: Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines, including keeping updated on recent changes in private client law.
Qualifications and Skills: Education: LLB or equivalent degree, with completion of the LPC; qualified solicitor with a practicing certificate in the UK.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years experience specializing in private client work, particularly wills, trusts, and probate.
Skills: Strong analytical and drafting skills, with attention to detail in handling complex client matters.
Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to simplify complex legal terms for clients.
Client-Focused: Demonstrates empathy, confidentiality, and a client-first approach, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction.
