Principal Systems Scientist

Principal Systems ScientistCK Group are recruiting for a Principal Systems Scientist to join an instrumentation manufacturer at their site based in Beaconsfield on a permanent basis.
The Company: Our client provides laboratory analysis and management systems, and manufactures world leading laboratory equipment.
Location: This role is located at our client's site in Beaconsfield.
This is a hybrid role but will require additional days on site depending on project requirements.
Principal Systems Scientist Role: Your main duties will be: Oversight of the systems team, covering a wide portfolio of active projects.Leading the wider R&D team in system design, specification and verification.Management of product development projects from initial concept development through design and modelling of optical, mechanical, electronic and software components.
Your Background: The ideal candidate for this role will have: A PhD level education in physics or engineering.
Extensive experience in the design and manufacture of laboratory instrumentation (including optical, mechanical, electronic and software systems).Good technical project leadership experience.A strong knowledge of regulatory and quality requirements for laboratory instrumentation.
