Principal Software Engineer

Principal Engineer – PMS C&I (Software) Location: Coventry.
Hybrid and flexible working arrangements available Salary: Negotiable depending on experience What You'll Be Doing: Develop innovative, high-quality software products in line with recognised industry standards.
Work within a multi-disciplined team using various tools and programming languages, engaging in all aspects of the software development cycle.
Lead assurance and review activities, ensuring configuration, release, and documentation standards are met.
Translate requirements into software designs, implement and test solutions, and manage integration, configuration, release, and deployment of the product.
Mentor junior team members, sharing expertise and fostering growth.
Your Skills and Experiences: Degree in Software Engineering, Instrumentation and Control Engineering, or a related subject.
Chartered status or equivalent professional experience.
Knowledge of software development lifecycles (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
Experience with Siemens TIA Portal.
Proven ability to lead small software teams or serve as a technical specialist.
