IS THIS SOMETHING THAT INTERESTS YOU? As an Azure Data Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing data architecture solutions on the Azure platform. You will play a critical role in ensuring our data infrastructure is scalable, reliable, and efficient, supporting our business needs and enhancing our data capabilities.

You will collaborate with our Implementation team to maintain and monitor current customer integrations. Working closely with customers to scope, develop, and document new integrations, you will also develop and execute plans to increase the interoperability of Foods Connected.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Data Management:
Utilize Azure SQL Databases, Azure Data Factory (ADFv2), Azure Data Lake Storage, and Synapse for data management. Design and migrate existing system integrations into a defined Azure Data Framework. Infrastructure:
Design and maintain cloud infrastructure using Azure services. Ensure the infrastructure supports efficient data processing and integration. Data Integration:
Develop and maintain ETL processes. Real-Time Analytics are important to us. Implement and automate data workflows using Azure Data Factory or other Azure Services for seamless data integration and transformation. Collaboration:
Work with internal teams such as Implementation, Product, and Innovation to gather requirements and define integration specifications. Collaborate with customers to ensure data architecture solutions meet their needs. Technical Development:
Develop and maintain APIs, web services, and other integration methods for efficient and secure data exchange. Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues promptly. Documentation & Maintenance:
Document integration processes, including technical specifications and user manuals. Perform regular maintenance and updates on existing integrations to ensure they meet current business requirements. Performance Optimization:
Conduct performance testing and optimize integration solutions for scalability and reliability. Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data architecture and integration. EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, the Azure Data Architect should have experience with:

Qualifications: BS in Computer Science or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience in a similar position. Proven experience with Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, and other Azure data services. Technical Skills: 4+ years of software engineering experience in a SaaS environment with a focus on system integrations. Desirable experience in developing web applications / APIs in .NET using C#. Microsoft Fabric experience would be hugely beneficial. Experience with API protocols and schemas - SOAP/REST. In-depth understanding of data formats such as XML/schemas, JSON, etc. Experience of Agile methodologies. Strong technology and systems analysis background.
