Principal Programmer

Principal Programmer – 12 Month Contract An award-winning game development studio is seeking an experienced Principal Programmer to join their Game Technology team for an upcoming project.
This is a brand-new, unannounced game built in a proprietary engine.
If you like idea of working on a project that's different to the majority of the games in the market, then this could be an exciting option for you.
Key Responsibilities: Devise and deliver technology across key areas within Game Technology, which may include systems, gameplay, UI, tools, etc.
Collaborate with designers to identify pragmatic solutions to creative challenges.
Champion best practices and support other team members to maximize potential.
Requirements: Experience implementing and debugging multithreaded real-time code at a Principal level or above within a cross-disciplinary game production environment.
Proficiency in C and C++, with an ability to write readable and maintainable code.
Strong desire to collaborate with other disciplines to explore solutions.
Flexibility to adapt to new challenges as priorities shift throughout development.
