Amazon Customer Excellence Systems (ACES) is looking for a Senior Product Manager to join us on our mission to optimize, simplify and streamline the management and expansion of one of the most advanced, large, complex and ever-growing fulfillment networks in the world. We are part of the First Mile or Customer Fulfillment operation within Amazon's vast supply chain supporting Fulfillment centres (FCs) that inbound, store, process and ship customer orders.
We do so by building technical solutions that have a direct impact on improving customer experience by making our processes safer, simpler and easier for thousands of Associates and front line managers. Our solutions vary from internal websites, low latency applications that run on devices and workstations in our Fulfillment Centers, IoT systems and optimization models.
Customer Fulfillment is a broad domain and our organization has a good degree of freedom regarding which projects to implement and the technologies to use.
In this team you will be able to work on brand new products, using the latest cloud technologies. We also partner with other global tech teams and work autonomously on their systems to improve existing capabilities or create new ones.
Exposure to both kind of projects will allow you to have an impact on how we delight our customers from click to delivery, while learning Amazon's engineering best practices.
Key job responsibilitiesOwn product strategy, feature design, and implementation across Europe for a range of ACES products partnering with in-house technical and program teams.Handle complex product development and business management scenarios while evaluating various trade-offs (time vs. effort vs. features).Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners. Develop metrics and KPIs to track impact.Work cross-functionally with multiple worldwide stakeholders (operations, tech, other product teams, finance, analytics, etc.) to deliver initiatives and features.Own business and product success metrics through coordination across technology, operations, and product stakeholders.Gather customer feedback on product and features to drive continuous improvement.Gain a deep understanding of fulfillment operations, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that improve customer experience, operator productivity and drive growth.About the teamThe ACES (Amazon Customer Excellence System) team owns the standards for process, training, equipment, and building layout for Amazon's European Fulfillment Center network. We lead large scale programs that drive operational improvement and support other teams in Amazon to deliver improved solutions and expand the network.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degreeExperience blending product and program management skills to execute strategic initiatives about process creation, standardization, and improvementExperience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definitionExperience as a product manager or ownerStrong numerical and analytical abilities with experience using qualitative and quantitative skills to develop product/program strategiesPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSExperience owning technology productsAmazon is an equal opportunities employer.
