Principal Product Designer

Details of the offer

Home buying is one of the most stressful processes, often involving multiple parties—estate agents, mortgage brokers, solicitors, lenders, and surveyors.
This complexity is compounded by the need to interact with various outdated, non-standardized, and disconnected software systems used by each of these stakeholders.
As a result, buyers often find themselves repeating processes and juggling communications through multiple channels like email, phone, and even fax.

Our Client's Mission
Our client is transforming the home-buying experience by rebuilding the software landscape for consumers and businesses.
They offer a single cloud-based platform that simplifies and streamlines the entire process, making it a more enjoyable and seamless journey for everyone involved.
Currently, they are in semi-stealth mode and have already partnered with 20 of the biggest estate agents and law firms in the UK, with a strong focus on customer referrals.

The Role: Where You Come In We are seeking a talented Senior/Principal Product Designer on behalf of our client to join their innovative team.
In this role, you will:
Create low-fidelity mock-ups for co-creation workshops.
Develop high-fidelity designs to effectively communicate product iterations to the development team.
Engage in ongoing discovery to optimize digital user journeys, learning deeply about the needs of home buyers.
What We're Looking For Proven Experience: Significant experience in designing beautiful digital products.
We'd love to see your portfolio.
Customer-Centric Approach: Ability to learn from customers and stakeholders to craft delightful digital journeys.
Adaptability: Willingness to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and contribute to building a product that will impact the majority of home buyers in the UK.
Positive Attitude: A positive, team-oriented attitude is essential.
Why Join This Team?
Impact: Lead product design and have a direct impact on the 1,500+ consumers using the platform monthly.
Collaborative Environment: Work with a small, closely-knit team of A+ players who value quality over quantity.
Growth Potential: Be part of a rapidly scaling product with the opportunity to influence its direction.
What's on Offer?
Competitive Salary: A salary package in the range of £70-110k, based on your previous work quality and experience.
Flexible Compensation: The option to decide how much of your package to take as share options to participate in the company's growth.
Hybrid Role: Flexibility to work remotely or from our client's London office in White City.
The working location and pattern will be agreed upon to achieve the best outcomes.
Location: Being within a commutable distance to London is necessary, as the majority of clients are based in London and the surrounding areas.
If you're a talented product designer looking to make a real impact in the home-buying sector, we want to hear from you!
