Arm's Systems team develops world class IPs and subsystems for various application segments, especially for AI use cases, using the latest IP products from Arm and other vendors.
We are looking for creative and enthusiastic SoC Design lead to join the team and help develop these systems.
As a leader in the design team, you will be involved in the specification, design and verification of various compute subsystems, and leading the team to delivery on time with the right quality.
Responsibilities: Design engineers are required to have in-depth understanding across all the elements that contribute to the products' successful delivery.
Your key responsibilities will include hiring the right engineers, mentoring the junior engineers, working with architects and micro architects, solving all design challenges in an SoC, including Clock, Reset, Power, DFT and ensuring the team delivers on time, with the right PPA metrics.
Additionally, you will work with the verification team to review test plans and help debug design issues and the implementation team to optimise those designs.
Required Skills and Experience : Experience of leading RTL design for complex SoC development using Verilog and/or SystemVerilog Experience or knowledge in the following areas: Static design checks, Synthesis and timing analysis, Power management techniques, Power and Clock domain crossing An understanding of the fundamentals of computer architecture and systems and practical experience of working on Processor based system designs Knowledge of shell programming/scripting (g. TCL, Perl, Python etc.)
Technical team leadership, mentoring or coaching experience "Nice To Have" Skills and Experience : Experience with Arm-based designs and/or Arm System Architectures Experience developing and integrating subsystems for PCIe, UCIe, DDR/LPDDR/HBM, Ethernet etc.
High level programming experience such as C/C++ and/or assembly language programming Experience in embedded operating systems, device drivers, microprocessor and embedded system hardware architectures.
