Location: Gloucestershire
Salary: 38k - 48k
Hours: 37.5 per week
Reporting to: Director

About the Role: They are seeking a talented Principal Landscape Architect to join their dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects that streams directly from the Planning team, and aims to provide comprehensive Landscape Architectural services. Currently there is a particular focus on exciting Quarry Restoration projects; experience in this would be highly desirable.
You can expect to have plenty of WFH flexibility, and to be acting as the leader of a small team, with plenty of support and autonomy available from other departments and the MD.
Key Responsibilities: Project Management: Lead and manage projects, overseeing workloads, scheduling, and coordination with the Draughtsperson and specialist sub-consultants.Client Engagement: Liaise with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.Proposal and Budget Management: Develop project briefs and fee proposals, monitor project expenses, and ensure financial efficiency.Contract Administration: Prepare Specifications, Bills of Quantities, Contract Drawings, and manage the implementation of landscape works.Landscape Design: Execute high-quality landscape design tasks.Reporting and Assessments: Prepare comprehensive reports, including Landscape and Visual Assessments, and coordinate Environmental Impact Assessments.Landscape Management Plans: Develop and implement effective Landscape Management Plans.Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior staff, fostering their professional growth.Marketing: Promote the company's services and enhance its market presence.Professional Development: Engage in continuous training and professional development relevant to the role.About You: Degree and/or Masters in Landscape Architecture.Qualified as a Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute.At least 3 years post-chartership experience in the public or private sector.Full driving licence and use of own car.Benefits: Private Healthcare.Life Cover.25 Days Annual Leave + Bank Holidays.Hybrid Working.Payment of Professional Fees.Company Bonus Scheme.Free Car Parking.Your application will be handled with the utmost confidentiality by Michael Holland.
