As a Principal Internal Consultant, you will use your consulting background to work on a wide variety of business and technology initiatives across business and functional units. Depending on your expertise and focus area, you may lead workstreams as part of larger programs or manage delivery in more targeted engagements with direct client management responsibility.
Projects range from broad enterprise and functional transformations to point solution topics targeting revenue generation, expense reduction, business process improvement, regulatory compliance, risk management and technology enabled solutions. This is an ideal role for an experienced consultant looking for a role that provides challenge, variety and being in the driver seat to lead change in a high-performance culture with one of the world's leading asset managers.
Responsibilities include:Leading and delivering small or components of large complex programs and consulting engagements across InvescoInitiating and executing best practice project management activities including workplan development and management, budgeting, status tracking and risk managementProactively engaging with business leaders to identify, design and implement creative business and technology solutionsProviding thought leadership to supplement standard tools and processes with innovative ideas and approachesDeveloping business cases for variety of operational and strategic initiatives including impact and financial analysisCreating best in class program deliverables and work with teams to build strong relationships to deliver exceptional outcomes.Developing and maintaining relationships with executives at Invesco to position the Internal Consulting Organisation as top of mind partners for solutioning and opportunity management.What you can bring:Solid professional experience in consulting in a global or national management consulting firm with engagements in Financial Services (preferably Asset Management)Enterprise or Business transformation delivery experience (preferable with a robust mix of business and technology dimensions)Project management experienceAbility to synthesise and analyse data to drive meaningful insights using standard and innovative analytics tools (minimum Excel)Strong oral and written communication skills including advanced presentation and MS PowerPoint skillsAbility to effectively translate technology for business leaders and conduct complex analysis and present data in a meaningful wayAbility to work independently and manage multiple assigned tasks with minimal guidanceAbility to problem solve and presenting option assessment to drive decision makingDisability Confident SchemeApplicants who opt in to the Disability Confident Scheme and meet the 'minimum criteria' for the role will be offered an interview.
