JOB DESCRIPTION Wood are currently recruiting for a Principal Instrument Engineer on a Contract basis working outside IR35.& Hybrid working.
Due to significant growth in our contracts we have opportunities on a number of large standalone projects and on/offshore modification scopes.
Our clients are some of the largest global operators within the energy industry and the project work particularly offers long term opportunities with the projects spanning over the next 2-3 years.
In addition there is further project work on the horizon that will add to this great lookahead but excitingly steps into the energy transition space.

Description for Internal Candidates Provide Instrument engineering support to the Client contract as required Execute assigned work in accordance with applicable contract procedures, client and project standards Originate and check structural engineering deliverables as required on Client Contract within budget and schedule Ensure self-awareness of relevant regulatory framework, legislation changes, initiatives and industry technology developments and promote to direct reports.
Manage discipline CTR's, provide input to estimates, proposals, plans and progress.
Develop calculation packages as required Perform site / client office visits if required Present and describe engineering solutions and concept competently to both technical and non-technical audience Organise, plan and coordinate own work as well as the resources assigned on a specific project.
Support quality & technical assurance activities as required.
