PRINCIPAL ENVIRONMENTAL/ECOLOGICAL CONSULTANT CARLIN, a Belfast-based planning and environmental consultancy, are looking for a Principal Environmental/Ecological consultant to lead and grow our environmental team.
The CARLIN Ecology team has been a great asset that has contributed to the success and growth of the company over the last year.
The multi-disciplinary approach has been greatly welcomed by our diverse range of public and private sector clients throughout NI and ROI.
This has enabled us to deliver large complex projects, requiring Environmental Impact Assessment and Appropriate Assessment.
We now need an ambitious and motivated ecological lead to manage and grow the environmental team.

Essential Criteria: Have an ecological background Have experience in carrying out a range of ecological surveys/reports (including Appropriate Assessment) Have a CIEEM membership (or similar) Ability to motivate others and work in a team environment Experience in leading and developing a team Desirable criteria: Experience coordinating Environmental Statements/Reports Project management of complex ecological projects 5+ years experience in a similar role (min 3 years in a leadership role) This role is flexible and we would welcome someone who has the ability to shape and lead the ecological team.

There are a range of ongoing projects which require an ecological consultant so the position is available for an immediate start.
