Principal Environmental Consultant- Glasgow

My client, a market leading multidisciplinary Civil and Environmental Consultancy, is searching for a Principal Consultant to join a supportive team in Glasgow.

It is essential that applicants have a strong academic background in Hydrology or Hydrogeology and experience working for a UK based Consultancy or Water Company completing hydrology, hydrogeology, peat EIA, water supply assessments and water quality assessments.

It is beneficial for applicants to have experience of peat restoration and peat hazard landslide risk assessments.

This exciting opportunity will offer candidates the chance to join the experienced team to complete varied hydrological and hydrogeological projects for renewable energy projects for private and public sector clients and Government organisations.

Candidates will be required to complete:
Surface water management plans. Nutrient neutrality assessments. Water quality assessments. Peat EIAs. GWDTE assessments. Water supply assessments. Watercourse crossing surveys. Peat management plans. Peat hazard landslide risk assessments. Mentor team members when needed. Monitoring and creating solutions to alleviate pollution issues. This role can be based in many locations across the UK including Glasgow, Perth or Worcester.
