The Combat Systems team: This role involves providing technical oversight for both a battery-backed Power Supply supplier and an internal Combat System team through the preliminary design phases in Q1 and Q2 of 2025.
Additionally, it includes managing the technical aspects of an Equipment Rack supplier alongside the Combat System team.
Both the Power Supply and Rack systems are integral to supporting safety-critical systems, making them essential to the successful delivery of the broader Dreadnought programme.
The wider team is responsible for the design, development, and delivery of multiple safety-related systems for the Dreadnought SSBN programme.
This includes managing subcontractors who provide sonar, situational awareness, display, and power supply systems critical to platform operations.
