Principal Electrical Engineer

Danny Sullivan Group are currently looking for a Principal Electrical Engineer based in Borehamwood.
The ideal candidate for this role would be an organised individual, as they are searching for somebody who can support their business interest to guarantee the smooth running of ongoing construction projects.
Responsibilities: A strong knowledge of the market and holds the ability to practice a solid track record of working within projects such as substation construction, cabling and overhead lines.
Good knowledge and understanding of power systems, protection design and renewable energy.
Preparing site layouts for multiple substation construction projects.
Communicating/liaising with the internal and external design team, clients and manufacturers to work together towards completing accurate designs within timescales expected.
Creating and agreeing with arrangements, material lists and wiring diagrams for protection plans.
Developing and reviewing diagrams, P&C block diagrams and connection diagrams.
Producing and managing designs across the entire group and handling solar and battery storage construction.
Solid understanding of power systems.
Experience/Qualifications: Educated to a degree level or hold a HND qualification in Electrical Engineering (or in a similar field).
Familiarity with CYMCAP, Sketchup, Mathcard, MS Project, P6 and AutoCad applications.
Bentley Microstation packages.
Full UK Driving License.
