Board International is currently looking for a highly talented, self-motivated, and analytically minded Principal Consultant focused on S&OP/Supply Chain Planning to join our Professional Services team. This role will focus on Retail, CPG, Manufacturing industry segments in the UK.

As a Principal Consultant, you will be responsible for driving transformative change for our supply chain customers by leading complex projects and providing exceptional technical and functional guidance to project teams matched with a good technical understanding.
You will champion best practices in architecture and industry standards to design solutions that meet our clients' needs and exceed their expectations.
Your understanding of the business processes and technical expertise will nurture customers to drive adoption and repeat purchases.

Responsibilities:Lead complex transformation projects, ensuring successful delivery of projects for S&OP and/or Supply Chain Planning SolutionsProvide technical and functional guidance to project teams to ensure the successful implementationCollaborate with clients to understand their business needs and requirements, and design solutions that meet their needsManage client relationships, build trust and credibility, and serve as a trusted advisor to clientsAcquire and maintain deep knowledge and skills of BOARD products and technologiesAssist in business development activities, including proposal writing and presenting to clientsAssist the Board Pre-sales Team during the preparation of a Proof of Concept (POC) and product demonstrationsStay current on emerging trends and technologies in BI/CPM and S&OP/Supply Chain Planning; and share that knowledge and insights with clients and colleaguesContribute to thought leadership and best practices development, including the creation of whitepapers, presentations, and other content to showcase our expertise within the S&OP industryAct as an subject matter expert on S&OP/Supply Chain Planning processes with internal and external stakeholders.Requirements:5+ years of experience in S&OP/Supply transformationsBS/BA/Masters degree in Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics or equivalent fieldProven subject matter expert in at least one of the following areas: Supply Chain Planning, Optimization, S&OPExperience in relational databases and data modelling is preferrableExperience with systems like Anaplan, TM1, Oracle, O9, JDA/Blue Yonder, SAP is preferrable.Ability to demonstrate thought leadership and develop credibility with prospects and existing customers as a trusted-advisor in the planning space.Able to work against very tight target dates in a dynamic environmentPM certifications such as PRINCE2, PMI/PMP, SCRUM will be considered a plusAbility to travel approximately 50% Our commitment to Diversity and Inclusion
