Principal Consultant - Process Safety & Technical Safety (Mid-Senior Level)

Details of the offer

Principal Consultant - Process Safety & Technical Safety (Mid-Senior Level)ERM has a fantastic career opportunity for experienced consultants, or industry professionals, in the Safety Services industry. We are experiencing increased workloads within our Technical, Functional and Process Safety teams and as such are looking to grow with the addition of further subject matter experts.
The successful candidate will be supporting or leading (depending on experience) the on-going process safety studies related to oil & gas and chemical processes. Their hands-on experience will be utilised in hazards identification, SIL determination and verification, fault tree analysis, consequence modelling and safety risk assessment.
They will be expected as a consultant to have the communication skills required to aid in business development activities and also be capable of producing safety study reports.
We offer a hybrid working environment so we do ask that you be able to travel to one of our UK offices, as well as carry out any site based or business development and networking activities.
Role outline We are looking for those that can lead, or at the very least support, Process Hazards Identification (PHA, HAZOP, HAZID etc) whilst also being proficient with conducting SIL Determination and LOPA's.
If you fit the above and are also familiar with software tools such as Isograph, DNV PHAST & Safeti then I certainly want to hear from you.
What's in it for you? We are very lucky to have in our team some of the foremost experts in this field, and so you will get the benefit of working with these people on a daily basis and learning from them. Whilst this is a role for an experienced individual who we expect will be able to hit the ground running (on a curve), the truth remains that the training we can provide is highly valuable and sought after.
ERM has a range of benefits on top of our highly competitive salaries, including 25 days of annual leave, private healthcare, a discretionary bonus scheme as well as a generous pension contribution. We also value your continued professional development and so we can support memberships and accreditations etc.
To Apply If you share our values and are interested in this role, please apply by sending your CV and a short cover letter explaining why you think you are suited to the role.
ERM does not accept recruiting agency resumes and is not responsible for any fees related to unsolicited resumes.
