Our Opportunity

Are you an experienced Chartered Building Surveyor, looking to take the next step in your career? Pick Everard are offering a challenging and exciting opportunity for a Principal Building Surveyor to develop the Building Surveying team and strengthen their own career and skill set, supported by the wider multi-disciplinary consultancy.

Due to continued and sustained expansion of our Building Surveying discipline, we are looking to appoint a Principal Building Surveyor in Leeds or Manchester. This opportunity will see you delivering exciting projects across a range of sectors including heritage, education, healthcare, commercial, central government, defence, and retail. You can expect to join a vibrant team and inclusive office, delivering a varied range of building surveying commissions.

Within this role, you will be working closely with your Director, supporting all aspects of the bidding process and business development activities. You will be responsible for ensuring the team is working collaboratively towards the same goal to achieve business targets, with a focus on delivering a high level of quality for our clients.

Our ideal Principal Building Surveyor must have: Excellent technical knowledge of building principles, preparing plans and specifications Relevant experience working within the Building Surveying industry as a Chartered Surveyor JCT and NEC3 contract administration experience The ability to monitor and report on progress and expenditure of projects, with sound knowledge of drafting technical documents It would be nice for you to have: The ability to work well in a team and motivated to deliver excellence A commitment to delivering a high-quality client experience The ability to work to deadlines and manage your time with multiple tasks Good business development skills About Us
