Primary Teaching Assistants

Connex Education Partnership are seeking warm, creative  and dedicated Teaching Assistants to provide learning support to students across various Primary schools in Warrington.
As a Teaching Assistant (TA) you will work closely with class teachers to assist students in small groups and on a 1:1 basis, explaining concepts, facilitating engaging activities, and enabling their educational development.
Other key duties include managing behaviour challenges, and helping prepare useful classroom resources. There may be occasions where you will work with pupils with SEN on 1:1 basis, applications from candidates with experience within this field would be greatly welcome.
We welcome passionate TAs of all experience levels – from those just starting out building their skills, to expert assistants seeking new challenges.
Full and part-time roles available.
The ideal candidate will: Have a patient, caring and encouraging manner.
Be able to quickly build rapport with students.
Have good literacy and numeracy skills.
Be confident handling classroom administrative tasks.
Required: Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant, Childcare or Health and Social Care qualification or equivalent And/or Minimum of 3-6 months experience working with Primary School children In return, we offer: CPD training provided by Connex Academy upon joining.
