About the Role: As a Primary SEN Teacher in Bournemouth , you will play a crucial role in supporting young students with SEN, helping them overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.
You will work closely with a team of dedicated professionals to create and implement individualised education plans tailored to each student's needs.

Key Responsibilities of SEN Teacher: Develop and implement individualised education plans for students with SEN, assessing each student's unique needs and abilities, and setting specific learning goals.
Provide one-on-one and small group instruction tailored to students' needs, ensuring they receive the attention and support they need to succeed.
Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching strategies as necessary to ensure that each student is progressing towards their goals.
Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure a cohesive approach to each student's education and well-being.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued, respected, and supported.
Use a variety of teaching methods to engage and motivate students, catering to different learning styles and preferences.
Keep detailed records of each student's progress, including assessments, observations, and feedback, and communicate this information to parents, support staff, and other relevant parties.
Requirements of SEN Teacher: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Prior experience in teaching or supporting students with special educational needs is essential.
Excellent communication skills for effectively interacting with students, parents, and colleagues.
Ability to establish and maintain strong, supportive relationships with all members of the school community.
Deep commitment to helping students with SEN, exhibiting patience and empathy.
Relevant qualifications or training in SEN education (desirable but not essential).
To work with GSL Education as a Primary SEN Teacher, you will need: The right to work in the UK.
An up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
An enhanced DBS registered for the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
