GSL Education are on the lookout for an enthusiastic Primary School Teacher to become part of a lively primary school in Bournemouth for a full-time role, with opportunities for an immediate start and flexible part-time arrangements available, particularly for individuals with experience in Special Educational Needs (SEN).
About the role: As a Primary School Teacher, you will create an engaging and inclusive learning environment, focusing on the needs of all students, with a particular emphasis on those with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
Responsibilities of the Primary school teacher: Create engaging lesson plans that cater to the different needs of students.
Build a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports all children's learning.
Monitor student progress and provide helpful feedback to aid their education.
Work with colleagues, parents, and support staff to achieve the best results for every student, especially those with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
Develop strategies to encourage student participation and a love for learning.
Manage classroom behaviour effectively while ensuring a safe and supportive space.
Participate in professional development and contribute to school activities and events.
Requirements of the Primary School Teacher : A recognised teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent).
Experience teaching in a primary school setting; SEN experience is highly desirable.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with students, parents, and staff effectively.
A patient and empathetic approach to teaching, with a strong commitment to student development.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs.
Knowledge of safeguarding practices and a commitment to the well-being of all students.
