Woozle's Syndicate Research team is made up of Equity Research Analysts that write ongoing monthly and quarterly research reports on companies with business-to-consumer (B2C) sales and operating models. Each analyst covers up to 15 companies within a sector vertical across industries such as food retail, luxury goods, fashion retail, DIY and home improvement, travel, leisure, and restaurants.
Primary Research Analysts on our Syndicate Research team work closely with our team of full-time Equity Analysts to collect opinions from industry sources that will help give investment professionals a leading, accurate, and differentiated insight into how companies are performing.
The RoleWe are looking to recruit a Primary Research Analyst to our Syndicate Research team as a remote-working, telephone researcher. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct in-depth telephone interviews with industry professionals at some of the world's largest companies, with the objective of uncovering the latest developments and fundamental factors that are impacting business performance.
We are seeking individuals with confident communication skills to join our channel research team in a part-time capacity. The role is similar to detective work or investigative reporting and requires persistence and analytical thinking under pressure.
Successful applicants will receive extensive training in the key skills required to conduct interviews and the research principles we employ to acquire the best quality data.
The work is telephone-based and remote, with flexible part-time hours. Typically, employees are able to commit to approximately 3 days per week, but we are open to less or more than this.
Compensation includes a base salary per hour plus monthly bonuses based on the number of accepted interviews submitted and the quality of insights gathered.
Minimum RequirementsThe role requires candidates to be available for a minimum of 20 hours per month. Additionally, candidates must have:
A fast, stable broadband internet connection - minimum 20mb download.A wired headset with microphone.A recent version of Windows/Mac is preferable, with required updates to drivers and settings.A quiet area in which you can work and communicate.Fluency in English and any of the following languages: Mandarin, Cantonese, French, Swedish, Japanese, Korean, German, Italian, or Spanish.The qualities we are looking for in an ideal candidate are: Confident communication skills; enjoy talking with others.Highly motivated; target/commission oriented.A keen interest in the stock market and company analysis.At Woozle, we believe in transparency and rewarding your hard work.
