Primary Market Research - Financial Services

A premier US asset manager is growing the business it does with key clients in Europe and Asia and is keen to hire someone experienced with Primary Research to aid this.
The purpose of the role is the help the business understand their clients in greater depth, provide better service, stand out in a crowded market place and become a true partner rather than a vendor.
The majority of the work is primary research but there will be occasions where using secondary research is appropriate so an understanding of how to procure this will be useful.
Along with excellent research skills it is imperative that you have excellent communication skills.
You will need to build deep relationships with your stakeholders e.g.
sales, marketing, business analytics and of course, the clients themselves.
Whilst previous financial services experience would be useful it is not a prerequisite.
Useful backgrounds could include Manufacturing, Consumer Goods or perhaps Pharmaceuticals.
This is the first hire of this type outside of the US and there is an exciting career pathway for the successful candidate.
