Med Impact Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Prescribing Pharmacist to join a healthcare team in Worcester.
In this role, you will play a key part in improving patient outcomes, providing expert medication management, and supporting our commitment to high-quality healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities : Patient Consultations : Conduct thorough patient assessments, providing expert advice and prescribing medications within your scope of practice.
Medication Management : Oversee and manage repeat prescriptions, ensuring safe, effective, and appropriate use of medications in line with national and local guidelines.
Clinical Collaboration : Work closely with GPs, healthcare practitioners, and multidisciplinary teams to support holistic and coordinated patient care.
Patient Education : Educate patients on the proper use of medications, possible side effects, and lifestyle changes to support their overall health.
Compliance and Safety : Ensure adherence to professional and regulatory standards, maintaining accurate and timely records of all consultations and prescriptions.
Quality Improvement : Participate in initiatives to improve patient care, including medication reviews, audits, and clinical governance activities.
Essential Qualifications : GPhC Registration : Fully qualified pharmacist registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
Independent Prescribing Qualification : Recognised independent prescriber qualification in the UK.
Preferred Skills : Excellent communication and patient consultation skills.
Strong organisational abilities with attention to detail.
Experience in medication reviews and patient education.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
