Preschool Leader (Responsible For Send) - Newtown Community Preschool

Newtown Community Preschool is seeking a minimum Level 3 qualified and experienced practitioner as Preschool Leader/SENDCO.
The hours to be worked are flexible subject to the applicant's commitments but are for a minimum of 30 hours per week.
We are seeking someone able to provide inclusive play and learning opportunities for all children attending the setting and to maintain a safe, stimulating, and enjoyable environment.
To share responsibility for planning and delivering an Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum with the Deputy Preschool Leader (DSL).
To be responsible for the planning and management of the day to day running of the provision.
To be SENDco and to take responsibility for any actions related to this.
This is a full and busy role but the successful applicant will be supported by both the Deputy Preschool Leader and the Business Manager.
The applicant will have experience of working with children with additional needs, aged 2 to 5.
They will have experience of leading staff in providing for the needs of children with Special Educational needs and disabilities in their previous setting(s), and other senior leadership experience.Please see job description for full details.
