There are posts in all aspects of Midwifery and the opportunity to maintain all your skills as a rotational midwife in a forward looking service with staff that has the enthusiasm to improve care for women and families.
The unit hasbeen awarded BFI Level 3.
We have exciting opportunities for experienced midwives to join our establishedteam of midwives at NLAG.

We welcome applications from internationally educated midwives that require OSCE support and training via an alternate route please see the following link Unfortunately, we are unable to accept applications from Red List Countries as per NHS Employers and WHO guidance Main duties of the job Working in the Antenatal Day Unit and Consultant-Led ANC, including a Fetal medicine ANC.
Performing screening tests and effective monitoring of pregnancies.Supports, supervises and teaches less experienced staff in the department and relevant clinical and non-clinical procedures and practices.Works autonomously within the department/team within Trust guidelines and sphere of professional practice.

Person Specification Education and Qualifications Essential oNMC registered Midwife Desirable oMidwifery Degree or working towards oNMC Registered Adult Nurse oEvidence of post registration development in Midwifery oNHS Leadership training oManagement qualification oQualified sign off Mentor or willingness to undertake Occupational Experience Desirable oExperience of managing a team or area, or experience of being 'in charge' of a shift oSuccessfully completed preceptor ship package or demonstrable equivalent competencies and skills (Band 6)
