We are seeking a dedicated individual to join the Pre-Assessment Service and contribute to support patients in their pre-assessment journey.
In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently arranging appointments for patients, ensuring that the digital pre-assessment system is consistently updated.
You will work closely with the Pre-Assessment Team, providing crucial administrative support If you are committed to professionalism, patient care, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we invite you to apply for this role.

Main duties of the job Schedule patient pre-assessment appointments, ensuring a variety of date options are offered.Respond to patient and staff queries promptly, escalating to clinical staff when necessary.Create clinic packs, and ensure documentation is correctly filed.Ensure completion of administrative outcomes.Support the Pre-Assessment Team with administrative tasks to ensure seamless service delivery.

Person Specification Education Essential Educated to GCSE Level or equivalent Desirable NVQ Level 2 in Business and Administration Experience Essential Experience of dealing with patients and families face to face and via telephone Competent in the use of Microsoft Office software Experience of working within an administrative role in a healthcare environment Desirable Experience of working in the NHS Skills and Abilities Essential Organised and able to manage time effectively Ability to prioritise workload Ability to work under independently, under instruction and part of a team Desirable Understanding of referral to treatment and 18 weeks Understanding of national targets Communication Essential Good communication skills (written/verbal) Able to demonstrate tact and diplomacy
