Main duties of the job Working under the direct supervision of the Lead Practice Nurse and strictly in accordance with practice guidelines and protocols, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified, motivated, committed, and enthusiastic practice nurse to join our dynamic, well-established, proactive, and supportive nursing team here at City Health Practice Ltd.
Practice nurses are equipped with the clinical knowledge, understanding, skills and attitudes needed to play an integral role within primary care, alongside our team of doctors, physicians associates, practices nurses, pharmacists, and health care assistants.
To provide and ensure a high standard of holistic, patient centered evidence-based care is maintained in a clean and safe environment for our patients across our three Hull based busy and friendly surgeries with a patient population of around 13,000 patients.
As a practice nurse you will be expected to always maintain patient confidentiality, professionalism, empathy, excellent communication skills, cheerful and polite manner.
You will be supported and supervised by the lead practice nurse within CHPL.
As a practice nurse you will adhere and uphold the professional standards set by the Nursing and Midwifery Council code of conduct.

Person Specification Qualifications Essential Registered nurse (RGN) or diploma in nursing studies.
Basic Maths and English (GCSE or Equivalent) Experience of working within primary care.
Diplomas or equivalent qualification or certificate in the care & treatment of patients with chronic disease in one or more of the following: diabetes, respiratory medicine, coronary heart disease.
