Practice Manager

WRAFTON HOUSE SURGERY Wellfield Road Hatfield Hertfordshire AL10 0BS Full-time or part-time (minimum 30 hours per week over 4 days) £45,000-55,000 (pro rata for part-time) – dependent on experience We are looking for a Practice Manager to provide leadership to our team, manage the operational aspects and work with the partners on finance and business development.
We have a patient list size of approximately 10,000 patients, with 6 GP Partners, operating from purpose-built premises.
There are excellent transport links, and we are close to the train station and A1(M).
The role is responsible for ensuring the practice operates effectively, including HR, finance, compliance, and developing and implementing new systems, policies, and processes.
The partners are open to change and looking to develop systems that support patient care and meet contractual and CQC compliance, so skills and experience in change management, finance, and business development are required.
Strong IT skills are also essential.
The successful candidate will be process-driven and solutions-focused.
They will guide and support staff, ensuring all tasks are carried out effectively and provide advice to the partners.
They will also ensure systems and processes are monitored and maintained to achieve compliance.
There is a supportive practice manager's assistant in place.
Our CQC rating is 'Good'.
