Job summary We are seeking to recruit an experienced Administrator tojoin our supportive and dynamic admin team.
The role/s will be hours depending on the candidate,requiring a commitment of approximately 4-5 days per week, offering the ideal balance for someone looking to contributemeaningfully while maintaining flexibility.
The role will require someone with a background in a similar role, an interest in the various administrative tasks within a GP Practice and knowledge of QOF Framework and how it works.The successful candidate/s will provideadministrative support to members of the primary health care team in thefollowing areas ensuring appropriate practice records are kept up to date: Main duties of the job The main duties of the role include, but are not limited to:Management of incoming insurance reports, SARS, iGPR etcKlinik Online Consultations - Oversee the incoming and outgoing communication to different departmentsSupport with DOCMAN management when clinical coders are on annual leaveOversee and support with QOF recall process including arranging appointments, clinic templates liaising with the Nursing lead and Deputy Practice managerSupport patient recall process for non attenders (Cervical screening, LTC etc.
)Allocating documents when requiredSecretarial &Administrative support to the summarizing/coding/insurance team when requiredSending out / booking of eligible patients into NHS Health Checks and other LTC appointmentsMonitor and Action SARS/DOCMAN/WLMC email boxes and Klinik inboxesManage ADHD/Autism workflow including new and existing referralsSupport with internal administrative queries and support to the team to ensure smooth running of the practice About us Crown Heights Medical Centre is located in central Basingstoke in an ideal location opposite from the train stations and local bus links, as well as being a short drive away from the M3 connecting London and Southampton.We have a branch site located at Old Basing however the post holder would not be required to work solely from the branch location.We are a training practice and are a caring and forward thinking committed team where our aim is to deliver the best patient care for our 28,000 patients and our coding workforce is growing so are needing to recruit an additional coder to join our wonderful existing team.Our team consists of2 Managing Partners8 GP Partners7 Salaried GPs11 Nurses/HCAsManagement TeamAdmin & Reception teamPCN ARRS Colleagues Job description Job responsibilities Job responsibilitiesJob Summary:A key part of the role is to undertake comprehensive management of the practice long term condition recall system, along with all other recalls within the clinical system to support patient safety, QOF achievement and ad-hoc monitoring requirements.
This part of the role requires excellent IT skills.As an administrator you will need to be adaptable in your style of working to support the needs of the Practice staff depending on the task at hand.
The role will require a mix of data based work and patient facing work so a strong communication style is important for the role.Although the role is focused a lot on the recall management the role is integral to our admin team so candidates need to be responsive to the needs of the service.
This will include being flexible with their approach to tasks as identified by the Practice/Operations Manager.You will be required to have the confidence to work closely with management and clinical teams to support the smooth running of the Practice.Other roles are: Using our online consultation tool Klinik, you will need to support patient communication and incoming queries, including being able to oversee and manage the ADHD/Autism referrals.
Deal with all general enquiries, explain procedures and make new and follow-up appointments.
Explain practice arrangements and formal requirements to new patients and those seeking temporary cover and ensure procedures are completed.
Make telephone calls as required.
Keep your working environment clean, tidy and free from clutter at all times.
Participate on a daily basis in task management and results tasks, ensuring that tasks and EMIS workflow areas are kept up to date at all times.
Actively participate in Practice Training to ensure you provide a high level of service for the practice.
This may mean you need to attend a training session outside of your normal working hours.
You will be expected to do this to ensure that the safety of patients and the Practices adherence to the NHS Contract is achieved.
Advise patients of relevant charges for private (non General Medical Services) services, accept payment and issue receipts for same.
Enter patient information on to the computer as required and as appropriate and within the correct time frame for safety of receipt of the information.
Undertake any other additional duties appropriate to the post as requested by the Partners, the Operations Supervisor or the Practice Manager.
