Join this retail brand as the new Public Relations Executive! Zachary Daniels are currently partnered with a leading name within retail as they look for a new PR Executive to join their in-house marketing team based in the Edinburgh area.
Are you a creative and driven PR professional looking to make a real impact? In this role, you'll take the lead in raising brand awareness across the UK, devising innovative strategies and delivering impactful PR campaigns to promote the brand through all media channels, both online and offline. Focussing on local and National awareness of the brand as well as corporate bodies and business partners. Key Responsibilities: Develop PR Strategies: Design and implement creative public relations plans that align with the brand objectives and broader business goals. Media Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key media outlets, coordinating interviews, press releases, and public speaking engagements. Campaign Management: Plan and execute PR campaigns, using a variety of channels (TV, print, digital, etc.) to maximise exposure. Collaboration: Work closely with the Marketing, E-commerce, and Creative teams to ensure consistency in brand messaging across all PR initiatives. Stakeholder Liaison: Engage with stakeholders, including political figures and industry partners, to support key discussions and highlight industry values. Crisis Management: Develop contingency plans and provide strategic advice on handling sensitive public issues to protect the company's reputation. Analysis & Reporting: Monitor the success of PR campaigns, set measurable KPIs, and provide detailed reports to assess performance. What We're Looking For: Proven Expertise: A solid track record in PR, preferably within a fast-paced retail environment. Creative & Strategic Thinking: The ability to devise and deliver innovative PR campaigns while managing multiple projects simultaneously. Media Savvy: Experience in liaising with the press and media outlets, with confidence as a public speaker. Strong Communicator: Excellent writing and presentation skills, with a keen eye for detail. Team Player: Skilled at collaborating with internal departments and managing relationships with external PR agencies. Organisational Excellence: Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively to meet deadlines. Qualifications & Experience: Degree in Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field. Experience in developing and delivering PR strategies on both a local and national level in the UK. Media training and hands-on experience in managing press relations. A self-motivated and proactive approach to PR, with a passion for delivering results.
