It is acknowledged to be one of the largest comprehensive Cancer Centres in the world.The successful candidate will join a cohesive team of Nuclear Medicine Physicians and Radiologists delivering the Nuclear Medicine, PET/CT and Radioisotope Therapy services within the Trust.
It is expected that the candidate will have already received specialist training in Nuclear Medicine and will be encouraged to develop a specialist interest to complement those of colleagues.
Main duties of the job This is a full-time post although candidates wishing to work part-time will also be considered.
Applicant must be accredited in Nuclear Medicine and be on the GMC's Specialist Register or within six months of being admitted to the Specialist Register.
The appointment is instance permanent Consultant position.
Ideally, the post holder will be able to start as soon as possible.

Occurring mainly in winter, it is an infectious respiratory disease capable of producing symptoms ranging from those similar to a common cold, through to very severe or even fatal disease.The wellbeing of our staff and patients is of the upmost importance to us, and it is the expectation of The Royal Marsden that all patient-facing staff have an annual flu vaccination, provided free of charge by the Trust.
