The Role
As a Paid Search Account Director, you will lead and grow the agency's paid search function, managing high-profile client accounts, and mentoring a talented team of paid media professionals.
You will play a pivotal role in shaping the agency's PPC strategies, driving innovation, and ensuring client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership: Develop and oversee paid search strategies that align with client goals, ensuring innovative, data-driven, and effective campaigns.
Client Management: Serve as the main point of contact for key clients, building strong relationships and ensuring their needs are met with excellence.
Performance Management: Monitor, analyze, and report on campaign performance, providing actionable insights and recommendations for optimization.
Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and inspire a team of paid search specialists, ensuring they deliver high-quality work and achieve their professional growth objectives.
Business Development: Identify opportunities to expand services within existing accounts and contribute to new business pitches.
Collaboration: Work closely with other channel leads (e.g., SEO, Social, Programmatic) to ensure integrated and cohesive strategies.
Budget Management: Oversee campaign budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of spend to maximize ROI.
What We're Looking For
Proven experience in paid search strategy, implementation, and optimization, ideally within an agency environment.
Exceptional client management skills, with the ability to build trust and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Strong analytical skills and expertise in platforms like Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, SA360, and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, GA4).
A track record of managing and growing successful teams.
Proficiency in Excel, reporting tools, and data visualization.
Ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on execution when needed.
Passion for staying ahead of industry trends and applying them to campaigns.
Experience with cross-channel collaboration and delivering integrated marketing strategies.
