Power Systems Test Engineer

Role: Power Systems Test Engineer Location: Staffordshire (Onsite) Salary: Competitive dependent on experience Our client is seeking a Power Electronics Test Engineer with expertise in lab-based testing , electrical testing , and fault-finding .
This hands-on role involves testing power converters, motor drives, and electrical systems, ensuring functionality , reliability , and safety .
You'll work across industries like Maritime and Defence , diagnosing issues, improving performance, and collaborating with engineers to refine designs.
Responsibilities include test plan development, system integration, troubleshooting, and maintaining lab equipment to meet safety standards.
Qualifications : Degree in Electrical Engineering , Power Electronics , or related field.
Experience with power electronics testing and lab equipment (oscilloscopes, multi-meters, etc.).
Familiarity with low and high-voltage systems and fault diagnosis.
Preferred : Experience in Marine , Defence , or Aerospace , and knowledge of high-voltage safety protocols .
