Role Overview Robert Half have partnered with a growing global firm who are seeking a skilled and experienced Power BI Developer to transform complex Excel data sets into visually engaging and easily digestible Power BI dashboards.
This role will require a strong ability to liaise with stakeholders, gather requirements, and deliver insights that drive decision-making across the organisation.
Location: Central London (3 days on site per week, occasional travel to Oxford) Contract Type: Outside IR35 Duration: 1 month - potential to extend Key Responsibilities Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs and reporting requirements.
Develop dynamic, user-friendly Power BI dashboards and reports that communicate complex data effectively.
Optimise data models and implement DAX calculations for efficient reporting and analytics.
Ensure data accuracy and consistency throughout the reporting process.
Provide training or documentation to help stakeholders interpret and use dashboards effectively.
Travel occasionally to the Oxford office to liaise with other teams and understand specific business needs.
Essential Skills & Experience Proven experience as a Power BI Developer delivering end to end projects in Power BI.
Strong expertise in Power BI, including Power Query, DAX, and data modelling.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including working with large datasets, formulas, and pivot tables.
Excellent understanding of data visualisation principles and best practices.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders and present insights clearly.
