We are dedicated to innovative research, excellence in teaching, and promoting an inclusive, supportive work environment Overview of the role:We seek a motivated Postdoctoral Research Scientist to join Prof. Molly Stevens's lab at the Kavli Institute for Nanoscience Discovery.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in organic/polymer chemistry, a proven track record of first-author publications, and strong teamwork and leadership skills.
In this role, you will design and synthesize a library of lipid-like polymers (lipidoids) for nanoparticle formulations in nucleic acid delivery.
The position is available from January 2025 for 18 months, with part-time appointments considered.
Key responsibilities:• Develop polymer-lipid nanoparticles and design functionalization strategies for drug delivery.• Use advanced nanomaterial characterization techniques, including cryo-TEM, DLS, SAXS/SANS, and SPARTA.
• Manage research activities and contribute to the Stevens Group's multidisciplinary environment.
