Postal Delivery Worker

£18.08 per hour Location – Peterhead - Kirk Street, Peterhead, AB42 1AA Shift Pattern – 15:00 - 21:30 5 days out of 7 must be fully flexible and available  to work weekends.

Pertemps are delighted to be supporting Royal Mail in recruiting Postal Delivery Workers across Scotland.
Key Responsibilities: You'll start your day in the local delivery office sorting and collecting post/parcels to be delivered You'll be given a hand-held device to capture customer signatures for deliveries.
The hand-held will also act as your routing system, telling you where to go to next The role will be physically demanding, where you'll be walking at least 8 miles per day.
You will also be required to carry a post bag, delivering letters and parcels Driving and on foot delivery will be required, and you will be required to push/pull a post trolley during deliveries Key Requirements: MUST hold a valid UK driving license with a maximum of 6 points.
(a clean license is preferred) Previous delivery or driving experience preferred but not mandatory Excellent time management and organisational skills Strong communication and customer service abilities A commitment to safe and responsible driving practices Working outdoors in all weathers is required Able to work 5 days out of 7 including potential day at the weekend If you're interested in this role, please click apply now and we will be in touch to discuss further!
