So, what does the role of a Portfolio & Technical Underwriting Manager here involve?
The role of Portfolio and Technical Underwriting Manager will work closely with the Underwriting Director in the management of the Technical and Operational Underwriting functions of the business.
Ensuring service standards are met through effective workflow management.
Providing input to the underwriting strategy to help us achieve our business objectives whilst managing binder performance.
A focus on ensuring we provide value to our customers and meet our regulatory requirements, you would work with the Underwriting Director and Risk and Compliance Business Partner in completion of tasks to satisfy our Governance Framework, including, but not limited to, annual product reviews and fair value reporting.
You would be responsible for overseeing the technical application and implementation of Personal Lines products, both internally and externally, providing input on automation where appropriate.
Leading the internal and external audit and validation processes, with monthly reporting to the Executive Commitee.
