We are a small, well-established, dynamic, and forward-thinking cloud-based Accountancy Practice with offices based in Dorset and London .
We have an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated Account Manager to join us on a work from home basis , with occasional travel for meetings.
Role Profile The purpose of the role will be to manage a portfolio of small Ltd companies and associated Directors in all aspects of their business.
Compliance responsibilities will include: · Preparing annual accounts · Maintaining VAT and monthly/quarterly reporting · Payroll · Corporation Tax returns · Company confirmation statements Account Management and Added Value Services In addition to the responsibilities listed above, the successful candidate will work as a business advisor to their client portfolio.
This will involve providing guidance on business planning, forecasting, tax planning and business growth.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for providing added value services to clients, such as: · Preparing Management Accounts and KPI information · Liaising with clients and helping them manage their business Providing guidance on business planning and forecasting Providing advice on tax planning Directing clients to Acconomy Partners for additional help such as funding, personal financial advice or intellectual property protection Providing advice on business exit planning Providing assistance with services such as R&D tax credits and Patent box applications and EMI employee share option schemes Person Profile The successful candidate will be a highly motivated and self-directed individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
They will have a strong understanding of the accounting and tax landscape and be able to provide clients with tailored advice and solutions.
