We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Politics Teacher to join a dynamic secondary school in Rochdale, starting as soon as possible.
As a Politics Teacher, you will inspire and challenge students to engage with contemporary political issues, develop critical thinking skills, and deepen their understanding of the world's political systems.
You'll teach at Key Stage 5 (A-Level), delivering stimulating lessons in Government & Politics.
You will have the opportunity to guide students through the complexities of political theory, electoral systems, global politics, and more.
Key Responsibilities: Teach A-Level Politics to enthusiastic students.
Develop and deliver engaging, thought-provoking lessons that encourage critical analysis and debate.
Track and monitor student progress, providing feedback to help students achieve their full potential.
Create a supportive learning environment where students feel encouraged to explore political issues and voice their opinions.
Contribute to the department's development and be part of a team committed to raising academic standards.
Provide additional support to students, including tutoring and mentoring, to ensure they succeed in their studies.
About You: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (NQT/ECTs welcome to apply).
A deep passion for politics and current affairs, with the ability to engage students in meaningful discussions.
Experience teaching A-Level Politics (or relevant qualifications and experience).
Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
