Job DescriptionAFRY Management Consulting are looking for people with an interest in the Polish energy market to join our team of energy market consultants.
We are recruiting for experienced consultants at our Senior Consultant grade to join our existing UK (Oxford or London) based Polish market team.The challenges of decarbonisation, decentralisation and digitalisation require us to continually challenge our existing ideas to remain at the forefront of thinking on the future of the energy industry.

You will join over 800 experts with a presence across Europe, the Middle East, Asia and the Americas who regularly collaborate across offices to deliver projects.As a primary responsibility, you will support AFRY's consulting and business development activities in the Polish market for a wide range of clients including major financial investors, utilities, developers, government and regulatory bodies.QualificationsWe are looking for experienced consultants who are enthusiastic and passionate.
It would be great if you had some of the following skills, but don't worry if you don't tick every box, we will help you develop along the way:We undertake a lot of complex analysis, a good proportion of which is numerical, so we are looking for people with an aptitude for quantitative and qualitative analysis, including statistics, and the ability to pay attention to detail and use MS Excel proficiently.Virtually all the work we do requires team working so if you have effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with others within a project team and wider office environment you will fit in well.In addition, report writing is a core part of our work and so we are also looking for the ability to explain complex information in a clear and logical way in English using both Word and PowerPoint.You will be working in a commercial environment against budgets and deadlines so you will need to be able to think for yourself, be pro-active and have a business-oriented mindset.You will assist and lead selected business development activities by preparing proposals and other sales material and helping to sell services in client meetings.You will help to further develop AFRY's internal knowledge of the Polish energy market, including expanding own knowledge, and training and supporting other team members.We need candidates to be a native or fluent Polish and English speaker.The successful applicant will have knowledge of and an interest in the dynamics of the Polish energy market.
In addition to this, they will have several years of relevant sector experience gained with a consultancy, an asset-management firm or with an energy market company.
They will have the personal skills and sector knowledge to be seen as an expert, both internally within AFRY and externally by clients.Additional InformationAFRY is built on people and everyone should be able to be themselves in any situation.
