As a Policy, Parliamentary and Public Affairs Manager at RCN working alongside our existing part time manager, you will be integral to the positioning of RCN Wales as the authoritative voice of nursing in Wales and a leading contributor to health and social care policy.
This role is responsible for developing and managing RCN Wales' campaigning, political and policy activities.
You will have a significant influence on key decision-makers and stakeholders, including the Welsh Government, through influencing and communicating the objectives and policies of RCN Wales.
You will play a key role at maintaining policy coherence within RCN Wales and contribute effectively to policy development across the RCN to ensure consistent and effective messaging.
It's a job full of possibilities as you could get involved in anything from representing Wales at a political events and decision-making fora to supporting members in the development of influencing and campaigning skills.

To join us you'll need skills in policy and political analysis, policy development, influencing and presenting.
You will require a background in health and social care, and you must have a strong knowledge of health and social care policy, political affairs and devolution within Wales and across the UK.
You must have demonstrable experience of policy and political analysis, research project management, and presentation skills.
