We are looking for two Policy Officers to join our Regulatory and Innovation Policy team in our Birmingham, Cardiff and/or London Office.The Policy Officer (Regulatory and Innovation Policy) roleWe have an ambitious and exciting three-year Corporate Strategy for 2023-2026.
The Strategy, Innovation and External Affairs Directorate has a leading role in delivering this Strategy, working with the Executive and the Board.
The Directorate is also responsible for identifying new projects that deliver our new strategic objectives.The role of the Policy Officer – Regulatory and Innovation Policy is to make an important contribution to development, delivery and implementation of policies likely to have a material impact on the market for legal services.
You will also contribute to the development and conduct of rigorous impact assessments, including equality impact assessments, of policy proposals.With good policy development, organisation, communication, project management and research skills - your responsibilities will include conducting researches on specific policy areas, providing technical information for use by others involved in decision making, preparing and presenting information for internal and external reports, preparing consultation papers, policy documents, committee and board papers.
