Our Bristol based client is currently looking for a PMO Analyst on a Fixed Term Contract to support the wider PMO team by providing governance and analysis to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
The ideal candidate will have strong organisational and analytical skills, with the ability to work across multiple projects and collaborate with various stakeholders to drive continuous improvement in project management practices.
Key Responsibilities: Project Governance & Reporting : Assist in establishing and maintaining project governance frameworks.
Track project progress, identify potential risks, and report on key project metrics to senior management.
Data Analysis & Reporting : Collect and analyse project data, generating reports and dashboards to provide clear visibility into project performance, timelines, and resources.
Support Project Delivery : Work closely with Project Managers to provide support on project planning, risk management, and resource allocation.
Process Improvement : Assist in the development and implementation of PMO standards, templates, and processes to improve overall project delivery efficiency.
Risk & Issue Management : Monitor project risks and issues, ensuring timely escalation and resolution.
Stakeholder Engagement : Collaborate with various departments, ensuring alignment between project objectives and business goals.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
2-4 years of experience in ideally a PMO or Project Environment Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA, Smartsheet).
Strong analytical skills , with the ability to interpret data and generate insights.
Excellent communication skills , both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information in a clear, concise manner.
Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, PRINCE2) is preferred.
Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
