Pmld Teaching Assistant

PMLD TA - Blackburn: Prospero Teaching are looking for an experienced teaching assistant to support children with complex needs at a lovely school near to Blackburn.
Although experience working with special needs in a school setting is preferred, any personal or professional experience supporting complex needs is what actually matters in this role to care and nurture for the individual.
Position Details: Location: Blackburn Position: PMLD TA Hours: 8:20am-3:20pm Type of Work: Temporary Full time/Part time: Full time only Minimum Rate of Pay: £90 per day, depending on experience Start date: Jan 2025 End date: OngoingThe Role: Assisting with personal care Working with challenging behaviours Building rapport with students, parents and staffExperience, Training & Qualifications: Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided) Previous experience supporting children with complex needs Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent is highly desiredTO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: Hold Right to Work in the UK Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application Provide two professional referencesOTHER If you would like to be considered for this role, please apply with a copy of your up to date CV.
