The Impact You Will Have Working within a workshop environment to diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of material handling equipment, such as forklifts and powered industrial trucks.
Performing routine maintenance and ensuring compliance with safety and engineering standards.
Identifying the root cause of mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic issues and determining cost-effective solutions.
Collaborating with the workshop team to prioritise tasks and deliver timely repairs.
Carrying out final inspections to ensure all equipment is safe, functional, and meets customer requirements before returning it to service.
Completing accurate job and service documentation, ensuring all records are up to date.
Proactively identifying any additional repairs required and informing customers of potential costs while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
What Will Help You To Excel In This Role Relevant technical qualifications in mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic engineering (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
Proven experience working in a workshop-based engineering role.
Strong knowledge of hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Good time management and organisational skills to prioritise workload effectively.
A focus on delivering exceptional service and understanding customer needs.
Pay: £30,000.00-£39,000.00 per year JBRP1_UKTJ
