Here at BJF, we have a fantastic opportunity to join our exciting and expanding construction biased business, whereYOUcan help support the M&E team as a plumber pipefitter.
Working with a large portfolio of public and private sector clients, our UK based organisation comprises of several divisions including Mechanical & Electrical, Construction, Projects, Reactive, FM, Small Works and other associated trades.
Please note this is a National role.
The majority of work will be based around the home counties.
Position Support the M&E division to deliver a varied portfolio of works.
Plumbing & pipe work installation, testing & commissioning.
Work in accordance with method statements and safe systems of Work.
Review & update point of works risk assessments.
Compliance with H&S and Environmental standards and policies.
Compliance with companys IMS system, policies and procedures.
Respond to call outs as dictated by customers and project management teams.
Site safety audits and tool box talks.
Preparation of bill of materials, raising materials requisitions and management of site materials.
Assist estimating teams with the preparation of sale estimates.
Requirements 3-5 years experience domestic/commercial/industrial plumbing & pipework fitting and heating engineering.
NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing & Pipework G3 Unvented Competent Person Certificate WRAS -Water Industry Approved Plumbers' Scheme (WIAPS) CSCS Card Holder Full UK driving license Experience required: 1.
Proven track record of commercial plumbing, pipework.
and heating engineering.

Ability to read and clearly understand drawings and specifications.
3.
Ability to work with a degree of autonomy and meet deadlines.
4.
Understanding of Health & Safety and CDM regulations.
5.
Understanding of current standards and regulations.
6.
Interpretation of drawings, schedules and specifications.
7.
Testing, inspection and problem resolution.
8.
Basic report writing.
9.
Support project teams in the preparation of schedules and quotations.
10.Collaboration with clients, sub-contractors and other trades.
Candidates would be subject to security checks and any offer would be subject to successfully securing these clearances within the probationary period.
